Greetings fellow Tractor Club Members.
Our next meeting is September 5 at the Catfish O’Harlies Restaurant starting around 7 pm.
At this meeting, we will discuss our upcoming consignment auction beginning September 14 with the auction to be held on September 23. We need as much help as possible to unload consigned items and then load them up after the auction. Wise County requires that we have someone on the grounds 24/7 while we have the grounds leased. So, I will have a sign up sheet at our meeting to give everyone a chance to spend a night, thanks.
Since our last meeting, several of us met at Grady’s shop and worked on our third people mover. We made great progress but didn’t finish. To finish the project, we plan to meet again at Grady’s on August 26 to hopefully finish the project. Everyone is welcome to come and help out. Call me if you need directions to Grady’s home.
Several of our club met at the former Wise Historical Society Museum and mover their outdoor display of antique farm equipment away from the building. The Society was very grateful for our help. The Wise Co. Messenger put an article in their paper about our assistance.
