Greetings Fellow Tractor Club Members,
Our August meeting will be held Thursday, August 1 at Beans & Taters on Main Street, Paradise, TX at 7 pm.
We had our plow day on July 13. We had 9 tractors brought in and everyone got to do some plowing. Everyone enjoyed plowing and putting our old iron to the test. Thanks to Larry Richardson for allowing us to plow up some of his fields. I managed to get my JD 70 stuck twice and thanks to Larry for pulling me out.
Your tractor club is now the owner of a 2015 bumper pull camper to use when we have to provide security at the fairgrounds. Thanks to the committee of Steve Cox, Steve Roos, and Kevin Stirwalt for researching and finding us a new (to us) camper.
Last Sunday afternoon, a number of us moved our JD A w/ mounted corn piker from Kathy’s over to Grady’s where we plan to get it running. Thanks to Larry for hauling it.
Steve Cox is going to present a program at our meeting showing scenes taken on plow day and pictures of our new camper during our meeting.
I hope to see you at Beans & Taters on August 1.
