Greetings fellow Tractor Club Members.
Since our last newsletter, we lost one of our own members unexpectedly, Teresa Cox. She loved our club and helped in any way she could. She was especially helpful to me and I’ll miss her.
Our Spring Tractor Ride was held April 15. Members that brought tractors were Grady [Farmall H], Kevin Suson [Ford Jubilee], Kevin Stirewalt [JD 2010], Dennis Hamblin [Ford Jubilee], Larry Richardson [Chicken Chaser], Steve Roos [Ford 8N], Phil Silvey [JD H], Trey Winstead [Case 960], Cooper Masten [Case VAC], John Masten [Case VAC], Justin Wilmot [Ford 601], John Hunt [Ford 3000], and I brought up the rear with my Kubota. Thanks to Grady and Kevin Suson in that they pulled our people movers. Also, thanks to Steve Cox and Eddie Griffeth for providing traffic control with their Gators. At the General Store, we had 38 members and guests enjoy the store’s juicy hamburgers.
Our next meeting is May 2 at the Catfish O’Harlies Restaurant. We plan to discuss our upcoming club activities and the club scholarships. I hope to see you there on May 2.
