Greetings Fellow Tractor Club Members,
We awarded three scholarships to deserving high school seniors who are going on to pursue advanced education in an agriculture related field last week. The recipients are Aubrey Taylor, Decatur High School, Emily DeNoon, Victory Christian Academy, Gabriella Ybarra, Bowie High School. Each of these ladies received a New Holland toy tractor as a reminder of our club. Many thanks to Mr. Micky McMaster for his generous donation of these tractors. Thanks to Steve Roos, Larry Richardson, and Steve Cox for overseeing our scholarship program this year.
May 18 was our family fun day out at Kathy’s. We had a nice group of members and guests who participated in tractor games and a tractor ride across the Askey Ranch. We stopped our activities for a great luncheon put together by Kathy. Thank you, Kathy, for making our lunch most enjoyable.
Our next meeting is scheduled for June 6, 2024, at “Beans & Taters” located on Main St, Paradise, TX at 7 pm. In our meeting, we will discuss our upcoming tractor show on June 8. We plan to duplicate our show we had last November in essentially every detail. I will go over EDGE&TA safety requirements as part of the discussion.
