Greetings fellow Tractor Club Members.
Our fall tractor show, held November 11 is history. Our theme was to honor veterans and many were in attendance. We had a good crowd and everyone seemed to have a good time. Many thanks to two people, Kathy Askey and Steve Roos. Kathy for hosting the show and Steve for being the show chairman. Also, thanks to all the committee chairmen and all who helped in whatever capacity they could.
Our next meeting is our Christmas party scheduled for Saturday, December 9 at 1 pm in Kathy’s tractor barn. This is the same as last year. The club will have door prizes. It is again a pot-luck meal with Steve Cox cooking the meat for the main entrée. Please let Kathy or Bill Schmidt know the dish you are bringing so we don’t end up with too many plates of the same kind. As in years past, bring a toy for Toys For Tots and a donation for St. Jude’s which the club will match.
I have scheduled a board meeting, Tuesday December 12 at Catfish O’Harlies beginning at 7 pm. We will be discussing our events for the coming year. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Our January meeting is scheduled for January 2, 2024 again at Catfish O’Harlies at 7 pm. We are planning to have our annual “stump the audience” presentation with any weird, unusual, rare, or unknown tool you may have. This has always been a lot of fun, so plan on attending.
I’m planning to see all of you at our Christmas party.
