October 23, 2023
Greetings fellow Tractor Club Members.
Our next meeting is November 7 at the Catfish O’Harlies Restaurant starting around 7 pm. We will discuss our upcoming show.
We held our Greenwood Tractor Ride on October 14. Ten tractors participated in the Ride, with 5 Fords, 2 Case, 2 John Deeres, and 1 Farmall. We used all three of our people movers. More than 30 people had lunch. Thanks, Kathy, for shopping and getting our lunch together. And thanks to Steve Cox for running interference with his Gator and keeping us safe.
Our Tractor Show is on track to happen on Veteran’s Day, November 11. A lot of the mowing has been done and we may have to do more mowing if the grass grows before then. Five of us gathered at Kathy’s to mow under all the old equipment. We finished all 4 rows west of the tractor barn and the one row south of Kathy’s house. Kathy treated us to a pizza lunch, thanks!
A good bit of work still needs to be done. We will be working the next two Saturdays and two or three days before the 11th. Please help if you can. You can call Steve Roos, Kevin Stirewalt or me to find out the times we’ll be at Kathy’s working. Please help if you can.
And last, but not least, please come and help on the Show Day. Our goal is to have fun putting the show on and make it enjoyable for the whole family.
I hope to see you at Catfish O’Harlies on November 7.
